Strategic communications designed around your goals.

What does your communications need to accomplish?

Sometimes an organization has plenty of communications activity but lacks an integrated strategy connecting that work to its goals. The pieces may be there without a clear plan for how they work together or where to focus limited resources.

Other organizations are building their communications program or facing a new need and aren’t sure where to begin. And sometimes the strategy is already sound. What’s needed is experienced capacity to take on an important project or opportunity.

Capacity Communications meets you where you are, starting with what you’re trying to accomplish and then determining what communications need to do from there.

Senior expertise,
in partnership with you.

Kent Love-Ramirez leads Capacity Communications and brings more than 30 years of experience as a senior communications strategist.

Clients work directly with me. I take the time to understand your organization and goals, then work in partnership with you and your team to assess what’s needed, develop the strategy and move the work forward.

Sometimes that means connecting the pieces and building a roadmap. Sometimes it means adding experienced capacity to lead an important communications project. Often, it’s some of both.

“Kent positioned us to clarify our role and priorities in a way that allowed for the creation of a clear path forward. His thoughtful approach to developing communications strategy meant that the tools and guidance he gave us were easily attainable, even with a short turnaround time and significant capacity constraints.”

Strategist by experience.
Collaborator by nature.

I’ve built my career helping organizations doing important work communicate more clearly and with greater purpose.

That experience has taught me to look beyond the immediate communications request, understand the larger organizational goal, and connect pieces that may not initially seem connected.

That experience also reinforced something that has been important throughout my career: using what I know to contribute to work that matters.

“While working with Kent, I watched him raise the strategic, creative, and collaborative culture of our organization.”

Let’s start with
what you’re trying
to accomplish.

You don’t need to know exactly what kind of communications support you need before getting in touch.

Maybe you have a specific project in mind. Maybe you’re facing a communications challenge or opportunity and need help figuring out the best way forward.

An initial conversation gives us a chance to talk about what’s happening, what you’re trying to accomplish, and how Capacity Communications might help. There’s no obligation, and you don’t need to prepare anything formal. The initial conversation is complimentary.
